Active Intervals

The Active Intervals feature allows for silent updates of recently deferred applications. When an application is closed, it will be updated immediately during the interval time, which is the idle period between scheduled Update Tasks. For example, if an update to Zoom is deferred and the end-user closes Zoom 30 minutes later, Alectrona Patch will silently update Zoom without waiting for the next scheduled Update Task. 😎

info

To be eligible for an Active Interval update after a deferral, the software ID of an application must exist in either the InstallOrUpdate, UpdateOnly, or OtherManagedSoftware keys. Alternatively, enabling the Update All feature will activate the Active Intervals feature for all software titles.
